Valentine's Day! Let's Make It A Family Event.

                valentines day, family day

Valentine's day is love. If you are not a new couple and can't go outside without kids, make this love date a family date.

In the age of technology, there is the hustle and bustle so far, and such days can bring charm. So plan a valentine with your kids and make it a family event. Every event is specified, but there can be changes according to your family terms, so don't hesitate to make it a family event as it will give some life lessons to your kids.

What Is Love?

Love is the most powerful feeling on this earth as it connects people. Love bonding is the base of a strong relationship. This is the feeling that makes one person special to others. A famous writer quotes it.

“Everyone appreciates a good thing by if you like the bad of someone then you are in love.”

The most important relationship on this planet is kids' love, and don't miss a single day to celebrate as you are blessed to have kids.

What Is Valentine Day?

Let's talk specifically about valentine's days. It has a deep history, but before discussing the event's history, it is also important to mention that it is forbidden in some religions and cultures. If I talk about Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India, it's not in the cultural or religious norms to celebrate such an event, but you can change the meaning to make it a family day.

Every day is a family day, yes it is. But as a responsible parent, you have to earn well, raise a happy child, fulfill their educational and other daily basis needs and demands, so in all these hecks you are challenging to spend the holidays. So make this event accordingly. Every year this day is celebrated on the 14th of February. Before moving on to how to celebrate this event with family; let's scratch the history.

History of Valentines Day

Saint Valentine was a Rome-based priest. According to the emperor of that time, unmarried soldiers are more beneficial for the country than married. The priest thought it an injustice, and he secretly married the soldiers. After revealing it, the emperor chose to kill Valentine. So at that time, the people of Rome decided to celebrate that day in the priest's name. But it is not necessary to celebrate this day as a love affair; it can be among different relations or married couples.

How To Celebrate With Kids

Here are the tips on how you can celebrate valentines day with your family at home.

  • Tell your kids about the event and tell them that love is the most crucial factor in this world.

  • You can ask them to make love cards for your father and mother, or even siblings. This will instigate them to do something creative and artistic.

  • Also, tell them love can be given to everyone, you can feed a kitten or puppy. If they want, they can invite any pet to this event.

  • Arranging a surprise table will be a great thing.

  • Arrange a one-on-one talk session with your kids and tell them the event means to be celebrated with love and affection, and it's not about buying expensive stuff.

  • Ask your kids to give flowers to your mother and father. This will provide them with the lesson that a gift belongs to the heart; money doesn't matter.

  • A gratitude note. Exchange gratitude notes with your family and speaks through the heart.

  • Play a valentines memory game where you can memorize the love moments.

  • Exchange the hugs and surprise with your spouse; it will teach them that relations are more important than love affairs. This gesture will deliver to them the importance of marriage.

  • A family photo with parents and grandparents is the most important thing. Through these pictures, you can also make a valentine tree or your family love tree.

  • Make a family dinner, make jokes, gossip, and watch any good family season.

  • A well-spent day is love, and for me, it is the base of a happy family and the true meaning of valentines day.
